With the newly vapor blasted replacement clutch housing cover fitted, the engine is back together and finally in the shell on our Japanese project Mini #minisparescentre #sanwa_trading_co #playmini #sanwamini #refurbishminiproject
Rather annoyingly, just as we were about to lower the engine into the Japanese restoration project, we noticed a very small crack on the housing where the clutch arm pivots 😞 So engine back on the trolly and a new cover was sourced ( good old Ebay ! ) and that's off being vapor blasted ready to fit back to the engine, ready for our second fitting attempt - this is the downside to rebuilding very old projects, a lot of the donor parts are fragile or already damaged and w#refurbishminiprojecto#sanwaminia#sanwa_trading_con#playminiy#mini#mini
